Delete Your Account
Last updated: 6 June 2026
This page explains how to request deletion of your Auslearn account and the data associated with it. Auslearn is operated by Auslearn ("we", "us", or "our").
Delete your account in the app
You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time, directly within the Auslearn app:
- Open the Auslearn app and tap the Profile tab (bottom right).
- Scroll down to the Danger Zone section.
- Tap Delete Account.
- Confirm by tapping Delete in the confirmation prompt.
If you are using the app as a guest (without an account), the same option appears as Clear Progress and removes all of your locally stored guest data.
Request deletion by email
If you are unable to access the app, you can request account deletion by emailing us at privacy@auslearn.org from the email address associated with your account. Please include the subject line "Account Deletion Request". We will verify your identity and process your request within 30 days.
What data is deleted
When you delete your account, we permanently remove the personal data we hold about you, including:
- Your account and email address
- Your onboarding preferences (learning motivation and daily practice goal)
- Your learning progress — lesson completion records and quiz accuracy
- Your streaks, XP totals, achievements, and challenge history
This action is permanent and cannot be undone.
What data may be retained
After deletion, anonymised or aggregated data that can no longer identify you may be retained indefinitely. Some data held by our third-party processors is subject to their own retention periods — crash reports collected by Sentry are retained for up to 90 days, and subscription records held by RevenueCat and the app stores are subject to their respective retention policies. We may also retain limited records where required to meet our legal obligations.
